Illuminate returns to Ipswich this winter with an all new trail set within one of the town centre’s beautiful parks.
As Illuminate enters its third year in Ipswich, following unforgettable trails at Holywells Park and Christchurch Park, we’re excited to unveil this years location. This year’s experience will feature a completely new route and spectacular light installations, never before seen at any of our Ipswich events.

Food & Drink
This year’s trail will feature a small food and drink court located halfway round, offering a diverse selection of hot food, drinks and sweet treats from our independent traders - More information on this years traders will be released soon.
The Trail
This years trail returns to the heart of Christchurch Park, with a new route, entrance and exit. Entering from Henley Road, the trail takes you through Christchurch Arboretum, exiting onto Fonnereau Road. Expect a 45-50 Minutes trail
Marshmallow Toasting
We'll be bringing premium marshmallow toasting pits back to Ipswich this winter! Indulge in delicious mega marshmallows around a warm fire. Enjoy a mulled wine or cider while toasting.
